3 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not

want nor lack. He causes me to lie down in
green pastures; he leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul: he leads me in paths of
righteousness for his name's sake. Though I
walk through the valley of the shadow of

death, I fear no evil: you are with me;

your rod and staff comfort me. You
prepare a table for me in the presence of my
enemies: you anoint my head with oil; my cup
runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life: I will dwell

in the house of the LORD forever.

4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord

Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all
spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Accordingly he has chosen us in him

before the foundation of the world, that
we should be holy and without blame before
him in love: having predestinated us to

the adoption as children by Jesus Christ to

himself, according to the good pleasure of his
