9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if
so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now
if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is
none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is
dead because of sin; but the Spirit is alive
because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of
him that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in

you, he that raised up Christ from the dead
shall also give life to your mortal bodies by his
Spirit that dwells in you.

So then, brethren, we are in debt, not to

the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if you
live after the flesh, you shall die: but if you
through the Spirit do put to death the deeds of
the flesh, you shall live. 10 So, if anyone is in

Christ, they are a new creature: old
things are passed away; and all things

are become new. Who by him believe in God
that raised Christ up from the dead, and gave
him glory; so your faith and hope is in God.

11 Seeing as you have purified your souls in
obeying the truth through the Spirit with
sincere love of the brethren, and that you love
