4 He that believes and is baptized shall be
saved; but he that does not believe shall
be condemned. 5 The God of our fathers has

chosen you, that you should know his will, see
that Just One, and hear the voice of his mouth.
You shall be his witness to all men of what you
have seen and heard. So now, what are you
waiting for? Get up, be baptized, and wash
away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

6 Jesus said, Truly, I say to you, except a man be
born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter
into the kingdom of God. That which is born of
the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the
Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said unto
you, “You must be born again”. 7 What

shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that
grace may abound?

God forbid. How shall we, that are dead

to sin, live any longer in it? Don’t you know
that as many of us as were baptized into Jesus
Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore
we are buried with him by baptism into death:
