and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner
of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 7 The
grass withers, the flower fades: but the word of
our God shall stand forever.

8 Jesus said: Heaven and earth shall pass away,

but my words shall not pass away. 9
Blessed are they that hear the word of God,

and keep it. 10 It is the spirit that gives life;
the flesh profits nothing: the words I speak to
you are spirit and life. 11 So lay aside all malice,
and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and
all evil speaking, as newborns, desire the
sincere milk of the word so that you may grow.

12 For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so
are my ways higher than your ways, and my
thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain

comes down, and the snow from heaven, and
returns not again, but that it waters the earth,
and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may
give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
so shall my word be that goes forth out of
