9 Now put on the new nature, which after God
and created in righteousness and true holiness.
Put away lying, and speak everyone truth with

his neighbor: for we are members one of
another. You can be angry, but sin not: and
don’t let the sun set upon your anger: neither
give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal
no more: but let him labor, working with his
hands in something which is good, that he may
have something to give to him that needs. Let
no corrupt words proceed out of your mouth,
but that which is good to the use of edifying,

that it may minister grace to the hearers.
Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you
are sealed to the day of redemption.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord
and in the power of his might. Put on the whole
armor of God so that you may stand against the
wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against

flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual
