life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who
is our life, shall appear, then shall you also
appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore
your members which are upon the earth;
fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection,
evil lust, and covetousness, which is Idolatry:
For which things' sake the wrath of God comes

on the children of disobedience: In which you
also walked some time when you lived in
them. But now you also put off all these: anger,
wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy words out of
your mouth.

4 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow
righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them

that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 5 Don't
you know your bodies are the members of
Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ
and make them the members of a harlot? God
forbid. What? Don't you know that he which is
joined to a harlot is one body? For two, he said,
shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the
Lord is one spirit.

Flee fornication (porneia): all sin that a man
does is without the body, but know that he
