Life-Giving Spirit
1 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is
sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is
planted in weakness; it is raised in power: it
is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual

body. There is a natural body, and there is a
spiritual body. And so it is written: The first
man Adam was made a living soul; the last

Adam was made a life-giving spirit.

2 It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh profits
nothing: the words that I speak unto you,

they are spirit, and they are life. 3 Our
sufficiency is of God; who also has made us able
ministers of the New Testament; not of the
letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills,

but the spirit gives life. 4 There is now no
condemnation to them in Christ Jesus, who live
not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the

law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
made me free from the law of sin and death.
