Lawgiver
1 Moses said: the LORD delivered to me two
tablets of stone written with the finger of

God; and on them was written according to all
the words, which the LORD spoke with you in
the mount out of the midst of the fire in the
day of the assembly. 2 As when the magicians

said to Pharaoh, This is the finger of God:
and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, but he did
not listen to them; as the LORD had said.

3 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and
to destroy: who are you that judge another? 4
For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is

our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will
save us. 5 Jesus said: But if I with the

finger of God cast out devils, no doubt

the kingdom of God has come upon you.

6 Some said to Jesus: Master, this woman was
taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in
the law commanded us, that such should be

stoned: but what do you say? They said this,
tempting him that they might have to accuse
