Life
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word

was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God. All
things were made by him; and without him
nothing was made that was made. In him was

life; and the life was the light of men. 2
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth,

and the life: no man comes to the
Father, but by me.

3 If you then be raised with Christ, seek those
things which are above, where Christ sits on the
right hand of God. Set your affection on things
above, not on things on the earth. For you are
dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear,

then shall you also appear with him in glory.

4 I am the living bread which came down from
heaven: if any man eats of this bread, he shall

live forever: and the bread that I will give is my
flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
