had supped, saying: This cup is the new
testament in my blood: do this, as often as you
drink it, in remembrance of me. For as

often as you eat this bread and drink this cup,
you show the Lord's death till he returns.

Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and
drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be

guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let
a man examine himself, and so let him eat that
bread and drink of that cup. For he that eats
and drinks unworthily eats and drinks judgment
to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For
this cause, many are weak and sickly among
you, and many sleep. If we judge ourselves, we
should not be judged. But when we are judged,
we are chastened by the Lord, so we will

not be condemned with the world.

10 You are our epistle written in our hearts,

known and read of all men: forasmuch as you
are manifestly declared to be the epistle of
Christ ministered by us, written not with ink,
but with the Spirit of the living God; not in
tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
