of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the
word of God, which lives and abides forever.

3 I am persuaded that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor
things present, nor things to come, nor height,

nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able
to separate us from the love of God, which is in
Christ Jesus our Lord. 4 I also suffer these
things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I
know whom I have believed, and am persuaded
that he is able to keep that which I have
committed unto Him against that day.

5 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God. For you have not
received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but
you have received the Spirit of adoption,

whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit
itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are
the children of God: and if children, then

heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with
Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that

we may be also glorified together. For I reckon
that the sufferings of this present time are not
