shed for many for the remission of sins. 5 So,
take heed unto yourselves, and to all the flock,
over the which the Holy Ghost has made you
overseers, to feed the church of God, which he
has purchased with his own blood.

6 By his own blood he entered once into the
holy place, having obtained eternal redemption
for us. For if the blood of bulls and goats, and
the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean,
sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh: how
much more shall the blood of Christ, who
through the eternal Spirit offered himself
without spot to God, purge your conscience
from dead works to serve the living God?

And for this cause, he is the mediator of the
New Testament that through death, for the
redemption of the transgressions that were
under the First Testament, they which are
called might receive the promise of eternal
inheritance. 7 And being made perfect, he
became the author of eternal salvation unto

all who obey him; Called of God a high priest
after the order of Melchisedec. 8 In whom we
