you know him, and have seen him.

Philip said to him, Lord, show us the Father,
and it will be good enough. Jesus replied:
Have I been so long with you, and yet

you have not known me, Philip? He that
has seen me has seen the Father;

how can you say: Show us the Father?

True Light
That was the true Light, which lights
every man that comes into the world. He

was in the world, and the world was
made by him, and the world knew him

not. He came unto his own, and his own
received him not. But as many as

received him, to them he gave power to
become the sons of God, even to them

that believe on his name: which were
born, not of blood, nor of the will of the

flesh, or of the will of man, but of God.
