Uncorruptable
1 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant
mercy has begotten us again unto a living hope

by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from
the dead, to an incorruptible inheritance,

and undefiled, and that fades not away,

reserved in heaven for you, who are
kept by the power of God through faith
unto salvation to be revealed in the last time.

2 Being born again, not of corruptible
seed, but of incorruptible, by the word

of God, which lives and abides forever; 3
the first man is of the earth, earthy: the second
man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy,
such are they also that are earthy: and as is the
heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

And as we have borne the image of the earthy,
we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption,
and this mortal must put on immortality.
