bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine;
no more can you, except you abide in me. I am
the vine, you are the branches: He that abides
in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much

fruit: without me you can do nothing.

The Way
Thomas said unto him, Lord, we don’t know
where you go; and how can we know the way?
Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the

truth, and the life: no man comes unto the
Father, but by me. If you had known me, you
should have known my Father also: and from
now on you know him, and have seen him.

Philip said to him, Lord, show us the Father,

and it is sufficient. Jesus replied: Have I been
so long with you, and yet you don’t

know me, Philip? He that has seen me
has seen the Father; so how can you say
then, Show us the Father?
