The Lord our Righteousness
Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I
will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a
King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute
judgment and justice in the earth. In his days
Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell
safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be
called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Jeremiah 23:5-6
The Propitiation or Offering
1 All have sinned, and come short of the glory of
God; being justified freely by his grace
through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
whom God has set to be a propitiation
through faith in his blood, to declare his
righteousness for the remission of sins that are
past, through the forbearance of God; to
declare, I say, at this time his righteousness:
that he might be just, and the justifier of them
which believe in Jesus.
2 My little children, these things write I unto
you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we
