physician; but they that are sick. I came not

to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

2 Is any among you afflicted? Let them pray. Is
anyone happy? Let them sing Psalms. Is anyone
sick among you? Let them call for the elders of
the church; and let the elders pray over them,

anointing them with oil in the name of
the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall

save the sick, and the Lord shall raise

them up; and if they have committed sins,
they shall be forgiven. Confess your faults

to another, and pray for one another, that

you may be healed. The effective fervent
prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much.
