knowledge, that you might be filled with all the
fullness of God.

4 Hope makes us not ashamed; because the

love of God is shed abroad in our hearts
by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.
For when we were yet without strength, in due

time Christ died for the ungodly. For
scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet
perhaps for a good man some would even dare
to die. But God commended his love toward

us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.

5 If you keep my commands, you shall abide in
my love; as I have kept my Father's commands,
and abide in his love. This I have spoken to you,
that my joy might remain in you, and that your
joy might be full. This is my commandment:
That you love one another, as I have

loved you. Greater love has no man than this
that a man lay down his life for his friends.
