New Testament
1 Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written:
The reproaches of them that reproached you

fell on me. Whatever things were written in the
past were written for our learning, and we,
through patience and comfort of the scriptures,
might have hope. 2 When he said, Sacrifice and
offering and burned offerings and offering for
      sin  you  would  not,  nor  had  pleasure  in  them;
which are offered by the law: Then said he, Lo, I
come to do your will, O God (in the volume

of the book it is written of me,) He takes
away the first (Testament), that he may
establish the second. By which we are
sanctified through the offering of the body of

      Jesus Christ once for all.

3 Jesus said: You search the scriptures; for in
them you think you have Eternal Life: and they
are which testify of me. 4 And as they were
eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it,
gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this
is my body. And he took the cup, and gave

thanks, and gave it to them, saying; Drink all of
it; for this is my blood of the New Testament,
