10 Jesus said: And if I go and prepare a place for
you, I will come again, and receive you unto
myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
11 Because you have kept the word of my
patience, I also will keep you from the hour of
temptation, which shall come upon the entire
world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

12 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my
words shall not pass away. So take heed to
yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be
overcome with rioting, drunkenness, and cares
of this life, and that day come upon you
unawares. For as a snare, it shall come on all
them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
So watch then, and pray always, that

you may be accounted worthy to

escape all these things that shall come
to pass and to stand before the Son of man.

13 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but
to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
who died for us, that, whether we wake or
sleep, we should live together with him. 14

Know this first, there shall come in the last days
scoffers, walking after their own lusts, saying:
