that you do not sorrow, as others which have
no hope. For if we believe Jesus died and rose
again, even so those which sleep in Jesus will
God bring with him. For this we say unto you
by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive
and remain unto the coming of the Lord will not
hinder them which are asleep.

The Lord himself shall descend from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God: and the dead in
Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive

and remain shall be caught up together with
them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. So
comfort one another with these words.

3 Lord you know my wanderings: put all my
tears into your bottle: are they not in your

book? When I cry out to you, then my enemies
turn back: this I know; for God is for me. In God
I will praise his word: in the LORD I will praise
his word. I put my trust in God: I am not
afraid of what man can do to me.
