with the mouth, confession is made unto

salvation. 12 If we say that we have fellowship
with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do
not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he is
in the light, we have fellowship one with
another and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son
cleanses us from all sin. Saying we have no sin,
we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us;
but if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just

to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us.

13 He said, I have heard you in a time accepted,
and in the day of salvation I helped you: look,
now is the accepted time; and now is

the day of salvation. 14 Again, he limits a

certain day, saying in David, Today, after so
long of a time; as it is said, Today if you will
hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.

15 And that, knowing the time, that now it is
high time to awake out of your sleep: for now
is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us

therefore cast off the works of darkness, and
