8 I know the thoughts that I think toward you,
says the LORD, thoughts of peace, not evil, to
give you a hopeful destiny. Then you shall call
upon me and pray unto me, and I will listen to
you. And you shall seek me, and find me when
you shall search for me with all your heart.

9 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy
One of Israel; I am the LORD your God, which
teaches you to profit and leads you by the way
you should go. O that you had listened to my
commandments! Then your peace had been as
a river and your righteousness as the waves of
the sea: 10 seek the LORD and his strength, seek
his face continually. 11 My soul waits only

upon God, for my expectation is from him. He
only is my rock and my salvation: he is my
defense; I shall not be moved. God is my
salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength,
my refuge is in God. Trust in him at all times;
you people, pour out your heart before him: for
God is a refuge for us all.
