also the coming of the Son of man be. Then
shall two be in the field; one taken, and the
other left. Two women will grind at the mill;
one taken, and the other left. Watch then: for
you know not what hour your Lord comes.

2 Study to show yourself approved unto God, a
workman that need not be ashamed, rightly
dividing the word of truth. But shun profane
and vain babblings: for they will increase unto
more ungodliness. And their word will eat as a
canker: of whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus;
who concerning the truth have erred, saying
that the resurrection is already past; and
overthrow the faith of some. Nevertheless, the

foundation of God stands sure, having this seal;
the Lord knows them that are his.

And, let everyone that names the name of
Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great
house, there are not only vessels of gold and
silver but also of wood and earth, some to
honor and some to dishonor. So if a man

purges himself from these (lies), he shall be a
vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the
master's use, prepared for every good work.
