2 In Christ we have redemption through his
blood, even the forgiveness of sins: whom is

Equal with God
1 Therefore the Jews did persecute Jesus, and
sought to kill him, because he had healed on
the Sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My

Father works until now, and I work.
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him,
because he not only had broken the Sabbath,
but said also that God was his Father,

making himself equal with God.

Then Jesus answered and said to them, Verily,
