Sons of God
1 But as many as received Christ, to them he
gave power to become the sons of God,

even to them that believe on his name: which
were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the
flesh, nor the will of man, but of God. 2 For as
many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are
the sons of God. 3 And when the fullness of the
time came, God sent his Son, made of a
woman, made under the law, to redeem them
that were under the law, that we might receive
the adoption of sons. And because you are

sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son

into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Now you are no more a servant, but a son; and
if a son, then an heir of God through Christ; 4
behold, what manner of love the Father has
given unto us that we should be called the
sons of God: therefore the world knows us

not, because it knew him not. Beloved, we are
the sons of God, and it does not yet appear
what we shall be: but we know that, when he

shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall
