7 Because Jesus was made a guaranty of a

better testament; for there were many
priests, and they were not allowed to continue
by reason of death: but this man, because he
continues forever, has an unchangeable
priesthood. Wherefore he is also able to
save to the uttermost them that come

unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to

make intercession for them.

8 Being born again to a lively hope by the
resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to
an inheritance incorruptible, undefiled,

and that fades not away, reserved in
heaven for you, who are kept by the

power of God by faith to salvation ready to

be revealed in the last time; 9 because it was
neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by
his own blood entered once into the holy place,
obtaining eternal redemption for us.

10 It was impossible for God to lie; that we
might have a powerful comfort, who have fled
for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before
