and when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead.
And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto
me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am
He that lives, and was dead; behold, I am alive
for evermore; I have the keys of hell and death.

10 Thus says the LORD the King of Israel, and his
redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and
I am the last, and there is no God beside me.
Who, as I, shall declare it, and set it in order for
me, since I appointed the ancient people? The
things that are coming shall happen, to speak
to all. Fear not, do not be afraid: have I not told
you from the beginning and have declared it?
You are even my witnesses. Is there a God

beside me? There is no God; I know not any. 11
Remember the former things of old: because I
am God, and there is none else; I am

God, and there is none like me.

12 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:

his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor,
The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father,

and The Prince of Peace. 13 For Jesus Christ is
