4 Yet the preaching of the cross is foolishness to
them that perish, but to us who are saved it is
the power of God…and so it pleased God by the
foolishness of preaching to save them that

believe. 5 For so is the will of God, that with
well doing you may put to silence the ignorance
of foolish men: as free servants of God not
using liberty for a cloak of maliciousness.

1 I certify to you that the gospel which was
preached of me is not from man. For I neither
received it of man, neither was I taught it, but I

received it by the revelation of Jesus
Christ. 2 For though I preach the gospel, I have

nothing to glory of for necessity is laid upon
me; yes, woe is me, if I preach not the
gospel! 3 But though we, or an angel from
heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than

that which we have preached unto you, let
