Every word of God is absolute: he is a

shield to them that put their trust in him. Add
not to his words, lest he reproves you, and you
are found out to be a liar. 2 So continue in the
things which you have learned and have been
assured of, knowing whom you have learned
them. The holy scriptures are able to make you
wise to salvation through faith that is in Christ
Jesus; 3 because the law of the LORD is perfect,

converting the soul: the testimony of the
LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
