pleasure in infirmities, reproaches, necessities,
persecutions, and distress for Christ's sake: for
when I am weak, then am I strong.

2 The Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we
know not what we should pray for as we
should: but the Spirit makes intercession for us
with groaning which cannot be uttered. And he
that searches the hearts knows the mind of the
Spirit, because he makes intercession for the

saints according to the will of God. And we
know that all things work together for
good to them that love God, and who

are the called according to his purpose.

3 Not that I speak concerning my needs; for I

have learned to be content in whatever state I
am. I know how to be humbled and abound:
everywhere and in all things, I am instructed to
be full and hungry, both to abound and to

suffer need. I can do all things through
Christ who strengthens me. 4 Then the

word of the LORD came unto me, saying: Son of
man, I have made you a watchman to
