Eternal Life
1 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our

Lord. 2 For God so loved the world that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world, but that the world
through him might be saved. He who believes
in him is not condemned, but he who does not
believe is condemned already because he has
not believed in the name of the only begotten
Son of God. This is condemnation: that light has
come into the world, and people love darkness

rather than light because their deeds are evil.

3 But blessed be the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant
mercy has birthed us again to a living hope by
the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

to an incorruptible inheritance; undefiled,
and that fades not away, reserved in heaven
for you, who are kept by the power of God
through faith unto salvation ready to be
revealed in the last time. 4 In whom you
