that were written in the past were written for
our learning, that we, through patience and
comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Now the God of patience and consolation grant
you to be like-minded one toward another
according to Christ Jesus: that you may glorify

God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
with one mind and mouth. 10 For whosoever
shall call upon the name of the Lord shall

be saved.

11 The God of our fathers has chosen you, that
you should know his will, and see that Just One,
and should hear the voice of his mouth. For you
shall be his witness unto all men of what you
have seen and heard. And now why delay?
Arise, and be baptized, and wash away your
sins, calling on the name of the Lord. 12 You are
the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot

be hid; so let your light so shine before all.
