3 You shall not hate your brother in your heart:
you shall not in any wise rebuke your neighbor
and not sin against him. You shall not avenge
nor bear any grudge against the children of
your people, but you shall love your neighbor
as yourself: I am the LORD.

4 I will execute great vengeance upon them
with furious rebukes, and they shall know that I
am the LORD when I shall lay my vengeance
upon them. 5 But do not rejoice when your
enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad
when he stumbles: lest the LORD sees it, and it
displease him, and he turn away his wrath from
him. Fret not because of evil men, neither be

envious of the wicked.

6 To me belongs vengeance and recompense;
their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of
their calamity is at hand, and the things that
shall come upon will be swift. 7 I charge you
before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who
shall judge the living and the dead at his

appearing and his kingdom; preach the word.
Be instant in season, out of season; reprove,
rebuke, exhort in patience and teaching.
