2 When the seventy returned with joy, saying,
      Lord, even the devils are subject to us through
      your  name.  And  Jesus  said  unto  them,  I  saw
      Satan  as  lightning  fall  from  heaven.  Behold,  I
      give  you  the  power  to  tread  on  serpents  and
      scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy:
      and  nothing  shall  hurt  you  by  any  means.

      Notwithstanding  in  this  rejoice  not,  that  the
      spirits  are  subject  to  you;  but  rather  rejoice,
      because your names are written in heaven.  3
      Be  sober,  be  vigilant;  because  your  adversary
      the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking
      whom he may devour: whom resist steadfast in
      the faith, knowing that the same afflictions

      are in your brethren in the world.

      4 Little children, let no one deceive you: he that
      practices  righteousness  is  righteous.  He  that

      practices sin is of the devil, for the devil sinned
      from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son
      of God was manifested that he would destroy
      the works of the devil. Whoever is born of God
      does  not  practice  sin,  for  his  seed  remains  in
      him, and he cannot continue to sin because he
      is born of God. In this, the children of God are
